Ernest has been an integral member our team for over seven years, specializing in the food industry. His dedication to understanding the unique needs of his clients and candidates has fostered long-lasting relationships and has been a key factor in helping his clients achieve remarkable growth and success. Ernest believes in SRI’s ‘Success for Talent’ mission because it aligns with his belief that people perform their best when they are in roles they truly enjoy. He’s passionate about guiding individuals toward companies and industries they’re excited about, ensuring that both clients and candidates can thrive and reach their greatest potential. Outside of SRI, Ernest contributes to his community by coaching high school wrestling, a passion he developed during his college wrestling days. His commitment to mentorship extends beyond the mat, as he enjoys helping individuals recognize and achieve their full potential. 

Jessica Theis

Search Consultant, 4 years at SRI


Jess has been excelling in her career for over four years. She’s grateful for the opportunity to work in a company with a strong team-oriented culture. Jess believes in SRI’s ‘Success for Talent’ mission because it aligns with her passion for helping both people and businesses thrive. She finds fulfillment in connecting talented individuals with roles where they can excel, knowing it drives success for clients. This mission also fuels her growth, pushing her through challenges and inspiring her to continually learn and evolve. Outside of work, Jess stays active by going to the gym and playing sports like softball, volleyball, basketball, golf, and pickleball. Her passion for staying energized and connected extends into her personal life, keeping her socially engaged. 

Jim Rizzo

Search Consultant, 5 years at SRI


For nearly five years, Jimmy has been a valued team member and has provided a high level of service to both our clients and candidates. Our mission of “Talent for Success - Success for Talent” is one that he firmly believes in and aligns perfectly with what he appreciates most about SRI. He enjoys partnering with companies on their searches to help find the right talent to further their success. On the other side, it’s a great feeling to collaborate with candidates in finding an opportunity that helps them further their successful careers. Outside of work, he loves watching sports, especially Illinois Basketball/Football, UFC, and the Bulls, Cubs, and Bears. He also enjoys golfing and learning how to do home improvement projects. 

Mike Beck

Senior Management Consultant, 20 years at SRI


For over twenty years, Mike has been one of the most reliable members of our team. Throughout his tenure, Mike has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering results for both his clients and teammates. Mike finds fulfillment in placing candidates into new roles where they can thrive and grow with their new company and be part of a growing organization that can offer long-term success. Outside of work, Mike is a coach for all 3 of his sons’ baseball teams and enjoys spending time golfing and fishing.  

Ryan Frain

Senior Management Consultant, 7 years at SRI


Ryan has been with SRI for nearly seven years, increasing our client's bottom line by delivering top-tier talent more quickly and efficiently than they could on their own. Ryan started with SRI as a full-desk salesperson and recruiter after graduating from the University of Illinois, where he was the Punter on the Football team. Now, further in his career, Ryan has also taken on a leadership role in hiring and training new SRI employees to excel in this same capacity. The senior leadership here is incredibly supportive, offering guidance and coaching to help us get things done more efficiently. We’re a tight-knit group that communicates well and genuinely wants the best for each other. Ryan appreciates this job for the win-win-win outcomes- when we successfully fill gaps in our clients' organizations, we improve the quality of life for the candidates we recruit and are rewarded for making those connections. 

Michael Smigiel

Senior Management Consultant, 20 years at SRI


Michael has twenty-plus years of experience in retained search, contingent placement, and contract staffing. He primarily works with manufacturing and service companies across the country. “Success for Talent” for Michael is a dual pathway in high-level achievement both for our clients and our own successes here at SRI as an organization. To him, placing candidates in roles that support their professional journey is a representation of how our mission resonates with him. In his free time, Michael is a mentor and coach for his kids’ sporting activities, which include Baseball, Hockey, and Softball.  

Gabe Sandoval

Search Consultant, 7 months at SRI


 Gabe appreciates the profound impact his work has on individuals and organizations. What stands out to Gabe is the tenure and experience of SRI’s senior partners. Their long-standing success, coupled with the supportive and dynamic culture, serves as an inspiring example for Gabe and the rest of the team. Gabe believes in SRI’s ‘Success for Talent’ mission because it encapsulates the dual purpose of finding the right talent to drive success for clients while helping individuals advance their careers. His passion for connecting people with their next career opportunity or helping executives build strong teams fuels his dedication to the mission, supporting both individuals and organizations in achieving their goals. Outside of SRI, Gabe runs a home improvement business specializing in residential metalwork and consulting for roofing, siding, and window needs. This work reinforces Gabe’s commitment to genuinely helping people, whether through consulting in home improvement or supporting their talent and hiring needs.

 Allie Bettenhausen is a dynamic addition to SRI’s Life Science Practice, bringing her enthusiasm for life sciences and a collaborative spirit to the team. A graduate of NC State University, Allie’s previous experience on the commercial side of life sciences has given her valuable insights into the industry, enabling her to effectively understand and meet the needs of clients in this fast-evolving field. Allie believes in SRI’s ‘Success for Talent’ mission because she has seen firsthand how dedicated each team is to understand the needs of both clients and candidates. As a Search Consultant, she is committed to ensuring both candidates and clients are happy with every placement. In her free time, Allie enjoys exploring new running routes and taking workout classes with friends, staying active while connecting with others.
