Sized pumps, valves, and instruments based on hydraulic models using AFT Fathom and Korf. Specified a variety of separation and heat transfer equipment, pumps, compressors and instruments. Led and participated in HAZOPs, PHAs; completed safety surveys – electrical area classifications (EACs), safety inspections, pressure relief valve (PSV) reviews and accident investigations. Prepared PTIs, RCRA, emergency plans, emission reports, dispersion models. Led commissioning teams. Directed engineers, chemists, mechanics, electricians, and operators in completion of projects or production goals. Used Microsoft Project and other management tools. Designed, installed, and commissioned new control systems and instruments. Performed troubleshooting on rotating and non-rotating equipment. Trained managers, engineers, and operators from operating instructions I wrote.
